Store Manager – Permanent – Pretoria, South Africa

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our retail outlet in Pretoria, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability and high customer satisfaction. The manager will be responsible for day‑to‑day store operations, staff leadership, inventory control and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store performance by meeting sales targets, managing inventory and implementing pricing and promotional strategies.
• Ensure a safe, clean and secure environment for customers and employees, complying with legal and health‑safety regulations.
• Schedule, supervise and evaluate staff, conduct performance appraisals and coordinate training and development.
• Monitor financial results, control costs, prepare budgets and report variances to senior management.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, address service issues and represent the company with stakeholders.
• Develop and execute marketing and visual merchandising plans to attract customers and boost sales.
• Manage supplier contracts and ensure timely merchandise availability.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 minimum; Diploma in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing preferred.
• At least 5 years of retail experience, with up to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
