Store Manager (45 hrs/week) – Blue Route, Western Cape

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Store Manager to lead our Blue Route store in the Western Cape. The role involves driving sales, controlling expenses, and ensuring excellent customer service while managing a dynamic retail team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Control expenses and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
• Lead people‑management activities, including recruitment, staff development, performance management and employee relations.
• Execute in‑store merchandising strategy and maintain visual standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering the company’s customer‑service strategy.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, with at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
• Ability to manage budgets, stock and staff performance.
• Action‑oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Strong network‑building and relationship skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset, anticipating and meeting customer needs.
• Capability to direct work, plan and organise team activities.
• Drives engagement and holds the team accountable for performance targets.
• Optimises work processes and values diversity.
• Preference given to candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.
