Store Manager (45 hrs) – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the daily operations of the Foschini Delmas outlet, driving sales performance and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This full‑time position (45 hours per week) reports to regional management and is responsible for achieving financial, operational and service targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive turnover and meet sales targets through effective merchandising, promotions and customer engagement.
• Control operating expenses and manage stock losses to keep shrinkage within company standards.
• Lead people management activities including recruitment, staff development, performance management and employee relations.
• Execute in‑store merchandising strategy, maintain visual standards and ensure product availability.
• Monitor store KPIs, analyse performance data and implement improvement actions.
• Manage inventory replenishment, stock ordering and loss prevention processes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering the company’s service strategy and handling escalations.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with a track record of delivering service excellence.
