Store Health Manager – New Store

About the role

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Store Health Manager for its new store at The Crescent in Umhlanga. You will lead the health division, overseeing stock control, sales targets, promotions and the implementation of head‑office initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and support sales staff in line with Dis‑Chem policies.
• Implement head‑office, regional and health‑manager strategies.
• Manage staff performance and maintain appropriate rosters.
• Oversee in‑store promoters and handle customer compliments and complaints.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, cleanliness, pricing and labelling.
• Achieve departmental, vendor, brand and sales objectives.
• Plan and monitor stock levels, place orders and ensure proper rotation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, the warehouse and sales representatives.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Minimum 3 years retail and sales experience.
• At least 1 year supervising a team of 3‑8 staff.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
• South African citizen with a valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Clear credit and criminal records.
