Stock Controller – Fourways, Johannesburg

About the role

Join a fast‑growing confectionery company in Gauteng that is preparing for rapid scale. As a Stock Controller you will oversee all inventory activities within the Production Department, ensuring accurate stock levels and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound stock transfers.
• Maintain a tidy, health‑compliant stockroom.
• Receive and decant raw materials.
• Pick, weigh and dispatch items accurately.
• Conduct regular wall‑to‑wall stock takes and cycle counts.
• Control damaged and short‑dated stock following FEFO principles.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on transfers, wastage and production.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years proven experience in stock control.
• Post‑matric qualification (degree, diploma or certificate).
• Strong mathematical ability for unit conversions (e.g., grams to kilograms).
• Excellent time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP (or similar inventory system).
• GAAP (or comparable accounting software).
• Proficiency with Apple iOS devices (advantageous).
