Sports Travel Sales Representative (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Sports Travel Sales Representative to join our fast‑growing, athlete‑led experience company. Working fully remote from South Africa, you will convert high‑intent sports enthusiasts into booked adventures, supporting a premium, trust‑based travel service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales conversations via video calls on WhatsApp and email, answering questions and guiding prospects to a confident “yes”.
• Convert high‑intent leads—runners, cyclists, skiers, climbers—into bookings, taking deposits on the call.
• Represent the brand with a calm, warm, human approach; avoid pressure tactics and scripted sales.
• Collaborate closely with the founder, Head of Revenue, and Operations to understand each experience inside out.
• Provide feedback on objections, pricing, messaging and funnel gaps to continuously improve the sales process.
• Help define and scale the sales function as the business grows.

Required profile

• Passionate about endurance or adventure sports; personal experience in the community is non‑negotiable.
• Deep understanding of the ideal customer’s mindset and motivations.
• Emotionally intelligent, socially fluent, and able to gauge when to push or pause in conversations.

• Full‑time permanent contract with a salary up to R30,000 gross per month plus commission.
