Specialist Fund Administrator

About the role

The Specialist Fund Administrator will be responsible for capturing, checking, loading and verifying fund prices and money‑market yields that feed various product administration systems, including BaNCS. The role involves shift work and supports the finance team in delivering accurate data for reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, verify and load fund prices and MM yields into BaNCS and related systems.
• Produce, update and maintain Microsoft documents, databases and departmental systems.
• Prepare routine correspondence, letters, emails, meeting minutes and reports for senior approval.
• Create moderately complex documents using standard office software and gather data for reporting.
• Collect data from standard sources, input into predefined formats and generate accurate reports.
• Extract and combine data to produce standard insight and management reports.
• Develop and maintain process or technical skills through training and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, regulatory codes and conduct standards.

Required profile

• Completed Matric (Grade 12) – tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar fund administration or finance role.
• Strong numerical aptitude and financial acumen.
