Specialist Dispensary Representative

About the role

This position is for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional to manage the Pretoria Inland & Limpopo territory for a leading pharma company. You will be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and executing the company’s sales and marketing strategy across pharmacies and doctors.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and manage the regional sales budget.
• Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) data and use the electronic territory management system.
• Develop and implement tailored customer strategies to foster mutual growth.
• Organise customer‑focused events, expos and CPD functions in collaboration with the Key Account Management team.
• Conduct daily customer reporting, call coverage and territory performance monitoring.
• Provide product and market knowledge training to customers.
• Forward product quality complaints, adverse events and medical enquiries to the appropriate internal departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 36 months of pharmaceutical industry experience, including direct sales success.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time‑management and interpersonal abilities.
• Established relationships with key stakeholders in the territory.
