Specialist Copywriter (Pipeline)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Specialist Copywriter to shape and elevate Capitec Bank’s brand voice across all platforms. In this senior creative position you will set the creative tone, drive messaging strategy and ensure all content aligns with the brand’s identity, tone and purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative, compelling copy for digital, print and social media channels.
• Define and maintain the creative tone and messaging guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful content.
• Support the Copywriting Manager in refining messaging strategies and evolving brand systems.
• Mentor and guide a team of copywriters to produce consistent, high‑quality work.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating senior‑level copywriting experience.
• Excellent command of English with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to think strategically and translate brand objectives into clear messaging.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and able to work independently and within teams.

• Copywriting for multiple platforms (web, email, social, print).
• Brand storytelling and tone‑of‑voice development.
• Collaboration tools and workflow coordination.
