About the role
The College is seeking an enthusiastic Specialist Afrikaans Teacher for its Primary School. The successful candidate will teach Afrikaans as a Second Additional Language to boys aged 4‑13, either on a full‑time or part‑time basis, and contribute to the development of confident communicators.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Afrikaans lessons to Primary School learners.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Afrikaans curriculum.
- Actively participate in promoting and developing Afrikaans within the College’s Language Faculty.
Required profile
- A recognized teaching qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience with a proven record of academic excellence.
- Native proficiency in Afrikaans.
- Good understanding of international educational trends.
- Knowledge of the educational needs of boys and their unique learning requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and strong administrative ability.
- Ability to work within the College’s Christian values and mission.
