Special Operations Co-ordinator – Clinical Support

About the role

PathCare is seeking a Special Operations Co-ordinator to provide administrative and help‑desk support for its Clinical Trial, Occupational Health, Research, Environmental and Veterinary clients. The role is office‑based, delivering electronic and telephonic assistance while ensuring smooth operation of client projects and laboratory services.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, oversee and maintain client projects and trial studies.
• Resolve pathology and account queries from corporate clients.
• Prepare client quotations and manage patient data cleaning.
• Coordinate sample shipments and ordering of shipping materials.
• Assist at exhibits, site initiations and investigator meetings, and support marketing communications when required.
• Maintain accreditation compliance, stock levels, kit production and distribution.
• Train external site personnel and attend site or industry meetings.

Required profile

• HPCSA‑registered Medical Technologist, Technician or Laboratory Scientist with a Clinical Pathology qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience in a pathology laboratory environment.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of ICH‑GCP and experience dealing with corporate and medical clients.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and display resilience.
• Fluency in English and understanding of Afrikaans.
