Special Events Assistant

About the role

The Special Events Assistant will support the Special Events Department in delivering roadshow and brand activation activities across Bloemfontein. Reporting directly to the Special Events Coordinator, the role combines driving, logistics, and on‑site event support to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive, operate and maintain roadshow and delivery trucks for event logistics.
• Manage stock deliveries and collections, ensuring timely replenishment of event materials.
• Select and play appropriate music genres that match market suitability during events.
• Assist with the execution of event branding, equipment activation and set‑up according to best practices.
• Follow daily schedules, provide excellent customer service and represent CCBSA positively in public settings.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in event support, roadshow logistics or similar roles.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate delivery vehicles safely.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to follow planned schedules.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
