Solutions Architect

About the role

As a Solutions Architect you will provide technical consultancy and code‑architecture services across Vista’s technical and operational teams. Working closely with the Principal Architect, Global Head of Platform and Architecture and the broader Architecture and Engineering groups, you will help shape the technical strategy and ensure the longevity of Vista’s software suite.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, refine and document strategic technical goals for Vista software and services.
• Monitor external and internal sources to identify emerging technology options relevant to the business.
• Research new technologies, produce findings and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Assist the Global Head of Platform and Architecture in communicating technical strategy across the organisation.
• Proactively review solution designs and implementation details across multiple development teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance on architecture, solution design and review to engineers, operations staff and technical experts.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions to drive continuous technical improvement of core software modules and frameworks.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts to validate key elements of solution designs.
• Support engineering teams in building platform and customer deliverables and help manage key engineering projects.
• Define operational states and runbooks for production and test systems.
• Assist with high‑priority issue identification, remediation and close collaboration with Platform Services and Customer Success.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical consultancy and software architecture services.
• Strong ability to work with senior architects and engineering leaders to shape technical strategy.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and guiding cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to evaluate emerging technologies.
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
