Solutions Architect – 12‑Month Contract (Onsite)

About the role

The Solutions Architect will design and deliver technology solutions that support the strategic objectives of a banking and finance organisation. This 12‑month onsite contract involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain end‑to‑end solution architecture aligned with business strategy, enterprise standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Translate business capabilities, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder needs into scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across projects, guiding design, integration patterns, data flows, and technology selection.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to ensure solutions are fit‑for‑purpose, cost‑effective, and sustainable.
• Govern architectural compliance by reviewing designs, managing technical risks, promoting reuse, and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of IT experience, including 7+ years as a Solution Architect.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• Proven experience in enterprise integration, cloud architecture, security architecture, and banking systems.
