Software Engineer – C#/.NET, C++, PHP

About the role

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test and maintain software solutions that meet business and client requirements. Working in a dynamic environment, you will translate user and system specifications into scalable applications while ensuring high quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software applications according to functional and technical specifications.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design and system architecture discussions.
• Apply Object‑Oriented Programming principles to create robust code.
• Produce and keep technical documentation aligned with organisational standards.
• Conduct unit testing and support system testing to guarantee software quality.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve software defects, performance issues and system errors.
• Monitor known issues, manage escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and development best practices.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience with Object‑Oriented Programming concepts and methodologies.
• Minimum 5 years in a Software Engineer or similar development role.
• Experience with C#.NET, C++, PHP or equivalent languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with InterSystems Ensemble is advantageous.
