Software Developer Security Analytics

About the role

RedMimicry is building a next‑generation security analytics platform that turns massive, fragmented security logs into clear, actionable intelligence. As a Software Developer focused on Security Analytics, you will create the core engine that processes and interprets this data, enabling security teams to detect threats faster.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy software components that form the backbone of the analytics engine.
• Develop algorithms and tools to analyse diverse security logs, identifying patterns, anomalies and potential threats.
• Collaborate with security analysts, product managers and other engineers to integrate new features and improve system robustness.
• Troubleshoot complex data‑processing and performance issues, ensuring high reliability.
• Participate in monthly in‑person collaboration meetings in Berlin to align on strategy and foster teamwork.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software development with a keen interest in security analytics.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively and stay self‑motivated.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
