Social Media Manager – Digital Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Ackermans across its CFE and Commercial divisions. You will drive brand engagement, create on‑brand content, and work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging on all digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a holistic social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging channels.
• Align social initiatives with Ackermans CFE, Commercial, CVLM and overall digital marketing objectives.
• Create, curate and manage platform‑specific content in partnership with ATL, PR, buying, design, photography and videography teams.
• Oversee social‑only campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with external agencies.
• Manage financial, stakeholder, talent and resourcing aspects of the social function.
• Analyse performance using Brandwatch, Salesforce and Google Analytics, producing actionable insights and quarterly recommendations.
• Monitor industry trends, tools and benchmarks, keeping the business updated on best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in social media strategy.
• At least 2 years of management experience within a marketing function.
• Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience in a clothing retail environment is a plus.
