Site Manager (Mining Contracts)

About the role

Bridge Personnel Concepts is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead mining contract operations at a crushing site in Witbank. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of site management, ensuring compliance, safety, production efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legislation such as the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and conduct regular audits.
• Lead SHEQ initiatives, perform daily safety inspections and drive continuous safety improvement.
• Oversee all site operations including production, maintenance, finance, sales, and supplier management.
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Develop and monitor weekly/monthly production programmes and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare contract programmes, compile cost reports, authorise expenditures and achieve profitability targets.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain sound employee relations in line with HR/IR policies.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in mobile crushing, fixed plant operations, quarrying or aggregates.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mining Engineering (preferred).
• South African citizenship.
• Legal liability training (MHSA) and Comp A certification; willingness to obtain an open‑cast blasting licence.
