About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the finishing phase of construction projects in Cape Town’s central business district. The role involves coordinating on‑site activities, ensuring quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations during the finishing stage, including scheduling trades and monitoring progress.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and the project team to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports and progress logs.
- Control site resources, including materials, equipment and labour, to optimise efficiency.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, specifically in the finishing phase.
- Education: Grade 12 (or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
- Ability to provide at least two professional references.
- Willingness to work overtime as project demands require.
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment medical examination and drug test.
