Site Admin Engineer – Luxury Accommodation Project

About the role

We are seeking a capable and hands‑on Site Admin Engineer to support our on‑ground team delivering a high‑end luxury accommodation project in Cape Town. The role involves leading daily reporting, gathering data from site engineers, and ensuring all documentation is up‑to‑date. Relocation to Cape Town is required for candidates not already based locally.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and enter daily reports into software, collecting information on weather, personnel, equipment, work completed, materials, inspections, safety, and any issues or delays.
• Organise technical documentation, project plans and reports, maintaining accurate records of site activities and variations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, industry and company standards, tracking inspections and corrective actions.
• Support the Site Engineer by stepping in for high‑level meetings and contributing to strategic decisions when needed.
• Identify operational problems and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum three years of experience in construction site roles such as Inspector, Project Engineer, Field Engineer or Site Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of South African building codes, regulations and construction practices.
• Fluent English for communication with international management and site teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction software tools; experience with Procore is a plus.
