Site Accountant – Manufacturing, Mining & Construction

About the role

The Site Accountant will manage the full finance function for a dynamic operation in the manufacturing, mining or construction sector. This hands‑on role combines financial reporting, compliance and administrative support to ensure smooth site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for the site.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Provide financial support to operational management and assist with site administration.

Required profile

• B.Com degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (articles completed advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, mining, construction or similar operational sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

What we offer
