Showroom Consultant

About the role

Hertex Fabrics is seeking a full‑time Showroom Consultant to join its Cape Town showroom. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, maintaining showroom standards and supporting sales activities. You will work in a family‑run luxury brand that values honesty, respect and passion.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain showroom operations by upholding set standards, coordinating deliveries and managing stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books.
• Build productive relationships with customers by advising, selling and providing after‑sales service within the showroom.
• Support field sales by assisting internal sales consultants and contributing to overall sales targets.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate or Diploma in Interior Decorating or a related field.
• At least two years of sales experience in a retail environment, preferably within the fabric or interior design sector.
• Exposure to an interior decorating or design environment.
• Experience coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage.
• Own reliable transport.
