About the role

Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories, Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa. We are seeking a passionate and driven Team Leader to join our growing store in Shelly Beach.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve store sales and gross profit targets while managing visual merchandising to attract customers.
• Demonstrate world‑class service standards and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Ensure the store is fully stocked, place orders timely, and keep stock loss and shrinkage below target levels.
• Execute all administrative duties efficiently, overseeing inventory control, reporting and compliance.
• Lead, develop and motivate staff, act as a brand ambassador, maintain expert product knowledge, and uphold Absolute Pets’ culture and values.

Required profile

• Passionate and driven retail leader with proven ability to meet sales and profit objectives.
• Strong people‑management skills, capable of coaching, developing and motivating a team using Individual Development Plans.
• Excellent product knowledge of premium pet foods and accessories and commitment to company culture and values.
