Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Service Technician to join a leading manufacturing company. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning and servicing production machinery, providing on‑site support to customers both locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and service production machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults, perform electrical and pneumatic repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance.
• Provide breakdown support and technical assistance, including customer training.
• Complete accurate service reports while adhering to safety standards.
• Travel to various locations as required, both within South Africa and abroad.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience maintaining industrial or custom‑built machinery.
• Trade‑tested Millwright with electrical and pneumatic fault‑finding experience.
• Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and willing to travel.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence and South African residency or work permit.
