Senior Windows Server Administrator (MCSA Certified)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Windows Server Administrator with at least 7 years of hands‑on experience to manage, maintain and optimise our Microsoft Windows Server environment. The role ensures high availability, security and performance of the organisation’s server infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Microsoft Windows Server platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and domain services.
• Monitor server performance, capacity and system availability.
• Troubleshoot complex server, network and authentication issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups and access controls.
• Apply security policies, patches, updates and perform vulnerability remediation.
• Configure and maintain virtual servers using Hyper‑V or VMware.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid infrastructure as required.
• Document configurations, procedures, incidents and changes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and participate in upgrade and migration projects.

Required profile

• MCSA: Windows Server certification or equivalent Microsoft certification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Proven experience with server security, patch management and system hardening.
• Ability to respond effectively to critical incidents.
