Senior Web Architect – Build Growth Engines

About the role

As a Senior Web Architect at Convertico, you will design and build high‑performance digital storefronts for South Africa’s fastest‑growing brands. You will translate designs from Figma into pixel‑perfect, responsive sites on Webflow, WordPress or Shopify, ensuring seamless user journeys that drive conversions.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Development: Transform Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive sites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Landing Page Engineering: Build high‑performance, conversion‑focused funnels for the media‑buying team.
• E‑commerce Optimisation: Manage and optimise Shopify stores, ensuring seamless checkout flows and high‑trust product pages.
• CMS & Technical SEO: Structure websites for long‑term scalability and exceed Core Web Vitals benchmarks.
• Integration Mastery: Integrate CRMs, tracking pixels (CAPI, GTM) and email marketing tools into site architecture.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience building high‑performance websites in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Mastery of Webflow, including CMS, interactions and custom code integrations.
• Mastery of WordPress, with expertise in theme customisation, plugin management and performance optimisation.
• Custom development excellence using modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify Liquid and e‑commerce best practices.
