Senior Travel Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Senior Travel Consultant to create unforgettable travel experiences for our clients. You will bring expertise, creativity, and exceptional customer service to both corporate and leisure travel bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, book, and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transfers, and packages.
• Provide expert travel advice, recommend itineraries, and handle complex changes, cancellations, and re‑routing.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, airlines, hotels, and suppliers; manage corporate travel accounts and VIP requirements.
• Ensure all travel documentation, visas, insurance, and compliance are correctly handled.
• Monitor disruptions, offer proactive solutions, and process quotations, reservations, payments, and invoices.
• Stay updated on travel trends, airline policies, destinations, and industry regulations.
• Mentor junior consultants and actively generate new business.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years experience in a travel management company.
• Galileo certification and a Matric qualification; a Travel Diploma is advantageous.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume bookings, corporate accounts, and VIP clients.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

What we offer

• Base salary of R10,000 per month
• Commission package capped at R50,000 per month (paid one month in arrears)
