Senior Systems Engineer / L3 Support Engineer – Hybrid & Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer to serve as the senior escalation point within our Managed Services team. The role involves complex technical troubleshooting, solution design, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration and client‑facing technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the highest technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support, troubleshooting complex infrastructure, cloud, networking and security issues.
• Lead critical incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams Voice solutions.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper‑V/VMware, storage, backup, disaster recovery and hybrid‑cloud environments.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and wireless networking; monitor security and respond to incidents.
• Deliver infrastructure and cloud migration projects, develop technical documentation and support client onboarding.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a senior infrastructure or MSP role with at least 3 years supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and engage directly with client stakeholders.
• Experience with ISO 27001‑aligned and ITIL‑based service delivery is preferred.

What we offer

• Negotiable salary: Mid‑level L3 R35,000‑R50,000 per month; Senior L3 R50,000‑R70,000+ per month; Specialist R70,000‑R90,000+ per month.
