About the role
Are you a seasoned Java engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and building scalable systems that make an impact? We are partnering with an innovative technology team in Cape Town to hire a senior engineer who will help shape and deliver high‑impact backend services.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable backend services.
- Lead the development of high‑impact features.
- Drive engineering best practices and code quality.
- Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams.
- Improve platform performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
Required profile
- Advanced Java expertise.
- Strong experience with the Spring Framework.
- SQL and database design skills.
- Proactive, solution‑driven mindset.
