Senior Software Engineer – European Legal Tech

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast‑growing European legal‑tech company. You will own features from schema design to production deployment, building infrastructure that handles real legal workflows, payments and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement full‑stack features, including database schemas, API routes, and frontend components.
• Integrate third‑party services such as Stripe, email platforms, CRM, and identity providers.
• Handle webhooks, edge cases, and ensure production reliability and scalability.
• Write migrations, debug issues in live environments, and contribute to code reviews.
• Maintain GDPR‑aware data handling and compliance in a regulated environment.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience shipping production web applications.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Self‑starter who can scope, build and ship without detailed task breakdowns.
• Experience in regulated sectors (fintech, legal‑tech, health‑tech, insurance) is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable using AI‑assisted development tools and reviewing AI‑generated code.

Required skills

• Next.js (App Router) and deep React knowledge.
• TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
• Supabase or similar stack: PostgreSQL, Row‑Level Security, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime.
• Stripe integration (checkout, webhooks, subscriptions).
• Git workflow proficiency (branches, PRs, rebasing, code review).
• Vercel or comparable platform for preview deployments and serverless functions.
