Senior Software Engineer - Embedded & Industrial Systems

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing Delphi‑based applications.
• Participate in the evaluation and adoption of modern software development technologies.
• Design software solutions aligned with performance and reliability requirements.
• Support hardware‑software integration and validation activities.
• Review system requirements and develop technical specifications.
• Contribute to testing, quality assurance, and release management processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist with software architecture and long‑term platform modernisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• Practical experience working with Delphi or legacy application environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Experience with source control systems and software configuration practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
