Senior Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a dynamic fintech development team. The position is primarily remote, requiring strong self‑management, excellent communication, and the ability to respond to critical production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance enterprise‑grade software solutions.
• Build backend services using C# and .NET.
• Create modern front‑end applications with Angular and/or React.
• Develop and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures and queries.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Work across AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments, supporting EC2, EKS and Linux infrastructure.
• Assist with software deployments, production support and troubleshooting.
• Apply secure software development principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and clients.
• Mentor junior developers and take ownership of deliverables through to completion.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Software Development, Computer Science or IT.
• Proven commercial software development experience.
• Excellent communication skills, self‑motivated and accountable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and provide after‑hours support when required.
