Senior Software Developer (AI & .NET)

About the role

We are looking for a senior software developer to join our Johannesburg office and help modernise our core systems. You will work in a Claude Enterprise environment, building scalable .NET solutions and applying AI to solve real operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C#/.NET applications and backend APIs.
• Enhance, optimise and support existing business‑critical systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational problems into reliable software.
• Develop and optimise PostgreSQL databases, queries and data models.
• Design relational and vector‑based data architectures.
• Drive practical AI adoption using Claude Enterprise and AI‑assisted development workflows.
• Support migration of low‑code solutions to modern application architectures.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and promote maintainable coding practices.
• Mentor junior developers and champion best practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with C# and .NET development.
• Strong background in building APIs and backend services.
• Advanced PostgreSQL and SQL development skills, including optimisation and data modelling.
• Practical experience with Claude Enterprise and AI‑assisted workflows.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
