Senior Social Media Strategist – Instagram & TikTok

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Strategist to own and scale our Instagram and TikTok presence. Working closely with the founder and a dedicated virtual assistant, you will turn educational expertise into qualified leads for a fast‑growing Google Ads agency serving eCommerce brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously refine the end‑to‑end Instagram and TikTok strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Research competitors, creators, adjacent industries and emerging platform trends to uncover new content opportunities.
• Translate market insights into actionable content plans, growth initiatives and lead‑generation experiments.
• Create content pillars, editorial direction and compelling copy—including captions, storytelling hooks and carousel concepts.
• Guide the founder on messaging, storytelling angles and trends, providing weekly recommendations based on performance data.
• Review, approve and ensure quality of all content before publication.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and executing social media strategies for B2B or eCommerce audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written communication skills and a talent for crafting engaging, human‑focused brand voice.
• Self‑starter who can work independently within a remote, contractor arrangement.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Instagram and TikTok platforms, algorithms and growth tools.
• Experience with AI‑assisted ideation and research for content planning.
• Ability to develop editorial calendars, content pillars and lead‑magnet concepts.
