Senior SAP PM Consultant – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior PM Consultant to work remotely from South Africa. The role focuses on Plant Maintenance (PM) while also leveraging cross‑functional knowledge in Materials Management (MM) and Controlling (CO) to optimise end‑to‑end maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to maintenance processing and system configuration.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure and support SAP Plant Maintenance processes, including equipment, functional locations, notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance plans, and task lists.
• Design and optimise maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage the full maintenance lifecycle from notification to order settlement.
• Collaborate with MM for spare‑parts management, inventory control, and procurement linked to maintenance orders.
• Support CO integration for order costing, budget tracking, and cost variance analysis.
• Provide UAT support, training, documentation, and mentor junior consultants.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–8 years of SAP PM experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven experience in end‑to‑end implementations and support environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Relevant SAP PM certification (proof required).
