Senior SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 Developer – Johannesburg or Remote

About the role

One of Africa’s largest supermarket retailers is looking for a Senior SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 Developer to strengthen its SAP delivery team. The position can be based on‑site in Johannesburg or performed remotely on a contract basis with monthly office visits.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori Design Patterns, Fiori Elements and CDS Views.
• Configure and manage the Fiori Launchpad, including roles, catalogs, groups and tiles.
• Develop and integrate OData services and SAP Gateway components for NetWeaver, S/4HANA and on‑premise landscapes.
• Work across SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud services.
• Contribute to full‑stack development with modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with UX, business and functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development, with recent primary focus on these technologies.
• Strong experience with Fiori Design Patterns, Fiori Elements, CDS Views and OData services.
• Proficiency in SAP Gateway and S/4HANA environments.
• Solid front‑end skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON and jQuery.
