Senior Sales Executive – HORECA (Remote, Cape Town)

About the role

Our client is a premium food‑ingredients and condiment company serving the hospitality, HORECA and broader food‑service sectors. They are looking for a high‑performing Senior Sales Executive with a hunter mindset to generate new business and expand existing accounts, primarily across the Western Cape while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities with hotels, restaurant groups, resorts, contract caterers and independent food‑service operators.
• Leverage and grow an existing client base, especially hotel groups.
• Build long‑term relationships with chefs, F&B directors, purchasing managers and other decision‑makers.
• Develop and execute sales plans to increase volume and share of wallet.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and regular client engagement.
• Conduct product presentations, tastings and training sessions as required.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and reporting.
• Travel within the Western Cape and nationally when needed.

Required profile

• 8+ years of successful B2B sales experience in hospitality, HORECA or food‑service.
• Proven hunter track record with new account acquisition.
• Strong network in the Western Cape; national relationships are a plus.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working autonomously.
• Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
