Senior Risk Analyst – Technology, AI, Data & Third‑Party

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Technology, AI, Data and Third‑Party (TAD+) Risk Management team at PwC’s South African Technology & Innovation Centre. The role will support the execution of risk assessments for new technologies, data usage and third‑party engagements, working under UK‑based managers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate technology, AI, data and third‑party risk assessments in line with PwC’s risk framework.
• Document risks, findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate with UK stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to service level expectations.
• Support the development of risk due‑diligence processes and control reviews.
• Maintain organized records and manage competing priorities across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Qualification in risk management, risk assurance or finance; data protection or security certifications are a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, technology, data or third‑party risk within a regulated or professional services environment.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with UK‑based teams and adapt to time‑zone overlap.
• Professional, resilient and collaborative mindset.
