Senior Receptionist – Morningside

About the role
The Senior Receptionist will lead the Welcome Desk at Planet Fitness Morningside, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression for all members. This position combines front‑desk management, member interaction, and occasional group‑exercise facilitation.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Welcome Desk to maximise member satisfaction.
- Conduct group exercise classes when required.
- Assist with club administration and cash handling.
- Communicate effectively with members and staff.
- Manage reception staff, monitor access controls, and handle overrides.
- Control reception stock and resolve member complaints.
- Train new reception team members.
Required profile
- Proven ability to motivate and lead staff.
- High administrative accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills at all levels.
- Willingness to work shifts and maintain high energy.
- Previous front‑desk or welcome‑desk experience is an advantage.
- Track record in staff management, planning, conflict handling and problem solving.
- Reliable personal transport.
