Senior Project Manager – Strategic Projects

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – Strategic Projects will partner with the Associate Director of Executive Projects to drive firm‑wide strategic initiatives. You will bring structure, discipline and momentum to high‑impact workstreams, ensuring alignment, risk visibility and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver strategic projects from initiation to completion, creating detailed project plans, timelines and action trackers.
• Translate executive decisions into clear workstreams, assign owners and set deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior leaders (CEO, CFO, COO, EXCO members) to gather inputs, provide status updates and hold stakeholders accountable.
• Maintain governance artefacts such as project charters, RAID logs, dashboards and executive reports.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks, issues and dependencies, proposing practical solutions.
• Support workshops, meetings and strategic sessions by preparing agendas, materials and follow‑up actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management tools, templates and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in business, project management, commerce or a related field.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional projects at a senior level.
• Ability to work confidently with senior executives and influence without authority.
• Strong organisational skills and a track record of delivering results on time and within scope.
