Senior Project Manager – Residential Developments

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale residential housing developments for a well‑established developer in the Bellville area. The role oversees projects from the town‑planning stage through to final hand‑over, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of residential projects, from concept and town‑planning approvals to construction and completion.
• Coordinate and monitor planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation to meet scope, time and cost targets.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors and internal stakeholders, to resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, risk assessments and performance metrics to senior management.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience on large‑scale residential developments.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, handle administrative and reporting duties and manage multiple stakeholders.
