Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) reports to the Senior Manager Project Portfolio and is responsible for delivering small to medium‑size projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Own scope, cost, schedule and quality for assigned projects.
• Provide regular progress updates to Project Sponsors, Senior Manager Project Portfolio and the Execution Team.
• Make decisions and coordinate project direction in liaison with senior leadership.
• Support the Senior Project Manager of the EPCM provider, resolve major issues and approve scope changes.
• Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company policies.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary project team, defining roles, delegating responsibilities and motivating performance.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, risk management, construction, interfaces and contractor activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior project manager on infrastructure or construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules and quality controls.
• Strong safety leadership, with experience acting as Safety Administrator.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior stakeholders.
