Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within a digital‑technology environment. The role involves scoping, budgeting, risk management and delivering solutions for clients in the mining or banking sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business cases, requirements and process maps.
• Create and manage project schedules, statements of work, backlogs and task prioritisation.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID).
• Oversee budget, cost reporting and procurement activities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams and drive change and integration.
• Lead release, configuration and quality management processes.
• Report to steering committees and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or diploma in Project or Programme Management.
• PMP certification is mandatory; Agile certification (SAFe or SCRUM) preferred or obtainable shortly after onboarding.
• 3‑6 years of project‑management experience on enterprise software and data projects, with over 10 years total professional experience.
• Background in the mining or banking industry and experience with product lifecycle management.
• Experience as a Scrum Master, EPIC Owner, or similar role is advantageous.
