Senior Project Manager – Built Environment (Cape Town)

About the role

Join a leading national interior design firm as a Senior Project Manager in Cape Town. You will lead a small project management team and be responsible for delivering high‑profile corporate interior projects from concept through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a project team, overseeing all phases from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate with senior management to assess project feasibility, set fee structures and monitor profitability.
• Prepare, revise and present budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and invoicing schedules.
• Develop and maintain master programmes, control drawing versions and manage tendering and procurement processes.
• Supervise site execution, ensuring quality, schedule adherence and compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain client relationships, act as brand ambassador and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of project management experience in the built environment.
• Formal project management qualification.
• Exposure to interior design and construction methods.
• Strong numerical, organisational and communication abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
