Senior Paraplanner

About the role

People Dimension is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join its rapidly growing team in Pretoria. You will work closely with a senior financial adviser, providing high‑level support across a portfolio of clients and ensuring the delivery of compliant financial planning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial plan documents, risk management statements, and statements of advice in line with adviser strategy and client objectives.
• Conduct client portfolio reviews, assess investment performance, and recommend actions to meet client goals.
• Monitor and update client risk coverage, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
• Manage client enquiries, new applications, quotations, and maintain accurate diary and reporting records.
• Maintain and update CRM systems, compile policy information, and research product details.

Required profile

• BCom in Finance, Business Finance, Investments, Financial Planning, Law, Financial Sciences, Investment Management, or Economics.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and/or CFP (advantageous).
• Regulatory Exam (RE5) passed.
• Minimum five years of paraplanning experience within the financial industry.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and at least one other official South African language.
• Strong administration, organisation, planning, and communication competencies.
