Senior Operations Manager – Pingo

About the role

The Senior Operations Manager for Pingo will lead national operational performance, governance and compliance across a matrix‑operating last‑mile delivery network. You will ensure consistent execution, drive accountability and support scalable growth while maintaining high customer experience standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive alignment and consistency of operational execution across regional teams through a national operating model and governance framework.
• Oversee driver network compliance, capacity management and health, ensuring regulatory standards and sufficient driver availability.
• Lead national operational review forums, KPI reviews and performance governance meetings to maintain a structured operating rhythm.
• Develop and execute contingency and resilience plans for peak periods, promotional campaigns and network expansion.
• Coach and hold Regional Operations Managers and Area Managers accountable for delivery performance, talent development and a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management or related field (essential).
• 7+ years of experience in operations management within logistics, last‑mile delivery or high‑volume e‑commerce environments (essential).
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams and managing operational performance through multiple leadership levels (essential).
• Strong track record in KPI management, operational planning and continuous improvement (essential).
