About the role
The Finance Department of eThekwini is seeking a Senior Meter Reader to lead meter reading control functions and supervise staff within the Revenue Management Directorate.
Key responsibilities
- Undertakes meter reading control functions.
- Provides general administration and customer service/liaison.
- Supervises subordinate staff effectively.
- Conducts technical investigations.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent with Mathematics or Accounting.
- Valid motor vehicle driving licence.
- At least 2 years relevant experience (3 years preferred).
- Computer literacy.
- Certificate in the Finance field (preferred).
