About the role
The firm is looking for a well‑presentable, professional Afrikaans‑speaking female to join as a Senior RAF Litigation Secretary handling third‑party claims in High Court and Magistrate’s Court.
Key responsibilities
- Typing of High Court and Magistrate’s Court litigation documents.
- Handling RAF third‑party claims on behalf of plaintiffs.
- Drafting and typing legal documents and liaising with clients in Afrikaans and English.
- General legal administrative and secretarial duties.
Required profile
- Well‑presentable professional Afrikaans‑speaking female.
- Fluent in Afrikaans (first language) and English (second language).
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- 8–10 years experience in High Court and Magistrate’s Court litigation at a law firm, specifically third‑party claims.
- Fully independent, computer literate in MS Office with strong typing skills.
- Non‑smoker, able to work under high pressure.
- Stable employment record with verifiable references.
- Willing to commit to a minimum of one year of employment.
