Senior IT/OT Support Engineer

About the role

The Senior IT/OT Support Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all IT and OT related issues within the assigned locations. You will work closely with end‑users, local vendors and the global IT team to keep systems stable, secure and aligned with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software and network problems, responding to tickets via email, phone or in‑person.
• Perform regular maintenance, upgrades and repairs of computers, peripherals and operating systems.
• Install, configure and update business‑critical software applications and ensure proper licensing.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining local network infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity issues and support security measures.
• Collaborate with the Level 1 OT support team to resolve OT queries within SLA and own OT project activities.
• Enforce IT security policies, conduct data backups and support disaster‑recovery planning.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, generate reports on support activities and manage vendor relationships.
• Participate in local IT project planning and execution, ensuring timelines, budgets and objectives are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of experience in end‑user IT support, hardware maintenance and network troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and act as a single point of accountability for local IT projects.
