Senior IT Systems Engineer / System Administrator

About the role

Corporate Network Solutions (CNS) is seeking two experienced Senior IT Systems Engineers / System Administrators to join its fast‑growing managed services team. You will work on client sites and remotely, delivering enterprise‑grade IT solutions across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and support Windows Server environments.
• Deploy, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, including tenant‑to‑tenant migrations.
• Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
• Configure, deploy and support FortiGate firewalls (security policies, NAT, SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, SD‑WAN).
• Deploy and manage Ubiquiti UniFi networks (APs, switches, gateways).
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Deploy and administer Hyper‑V virtual environments and Remote Desktop Services.
• Troubleshoot fibre, LTE, WAN and LAN connectivity issues.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor client infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and provide remote and onsite support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator or Field Service Engineer.
• Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
